The Gallyry magazine is currently closed to new submissions while working on its upcoming online exhibition, The Apocalypse Will Blossom. Keep an eye out for when submissions reopen and catch up with everything going on @thegallyry on Instagram.

Here's a reminder of our submission guidelines for those still working on features:

  • The Gallyry magazine is open to submissions from self-identifying women and non-binary people.

  • We are looking for articles that celebrate and explore women and non-binary people in the arts, from the past to present day. This can be across any artistic discipline, including architecture, design, visual arts, performing arts, photography, film, fashion, music, literature, and more.

  • All work should be exclusive to The Gallyry or stated otherwise.
  • After approved and written, your article will be proofread and any edits will be communicated with you before being published.
  • Articles should be fun, insightful, and accessible. They should be between 500-1000 words and include at least two images.
  • All images should be credited and have permission to be republished on The Gallyry.
  • You will be credited on the magazine and please send us your social media links if you would like to be tagged in promotional posts.
  • As we are a volunteer-led community, we unfortunately cannot pay for articles but hope to give you an open platform to share your work.
